Evacuations Lifted in Hardin, Jefferson and Orange Counties |

| Southeast Texas Officials to Lift Evacuation Orders Based upon the current weather conditions, all elected officials in Hardin, Jefferson, and Orange counties will rescind the mandatory evacuation orders which were issued on Sunday, August 31, 2008. Beginning at 6:00 am Tuesday, September 2, 2008, citizens can return to their homes. Emergency Management and Public Health officials are currently in the planning process to bring our citizens back from out of town shelters.
